Our fme Life Sciences Team

Graduating in 2003 from Braunschweig, Germany with a master’s degree in Computer Science in Economics, Manuela directly joined fme AG working in Java and Documentum development projects. Over the next years she worked closely with clients across different industries to consult in and implement Documentum solutions gaining experience in different project and company roles. In 2010 Manuela joined the newly formed fme US in Connecticut providing Documentum and migration services primarily for clients in the Life Sciences industry. Since then, she has been building up knowledge specifically in the R&D and Q&M area and expanding her team’s focus to other platforms such as Generis CARA and Veeva Vault. As Business Unit Director for Technology Services she leads the fme US team for platform implementations, integrations and platform management topics across Life Sciences and other industries. In her secondary role as Deputy of Operations she also guides the Delivery team to ensure client projects consistently deliver our high-quality standards.

Meghan is the Vice President of Commercial Operations at fme and an expert in global digital transformation within the Life Sciences industry. She has deep Quality domain acumen along with demonstrated expertise in program governance and account management, consistently driving innovation and delivering measurable results. Meghan has been instrumental in guiding some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device organizations on their digital journeys, ensuring success through strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep commitment to the Life Sciences industry’s needs.

After graduating from SUNY at Delhi in 1989 with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technologies, working for GEC Alstom servicing clients in Power Generation, Mr. D’Entrone then graduated from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts in 1999 and accepted a position for a Biotech company in Boston entering into the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) space. Mr. D’Entrone then went on to work for IT services organizations providing ECM consulting services to clients in industries such as Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Finance. In 2007 Mr. D’Entrone founded DT Technologies Inc. continuing to provide ECM consulting services till entering into a joint venture with fme AG in March of 2010.

Before she joined fme US, Jennifer DiSilvestre held a number of senior Human Resource roles including the management of a national transportation company with offices throughout the US. Prior to that she was part of the global HR team at Enzo Life Sciences and Clinical Labs. Jennifer brings more than 20 years of Human Resource experience to her role of the Human Resources Manager at fme US, LLC.

Mr. Gwyn is a strategic, creative, and data-driven Business Development and Technology Specialist with extensive expertise in building key partnerships, implementing business strategies, and deploying solutions across the life science and emerging technology industries. In October 2021 he joined fme US as the Business Unit Director for Business Consulting. For the past 30 years, he has led teams in the delivery of content management, clinical, and quality solutions with a recent focus on end-to-end Regulatory Information Management (RIM). His practice has evolved in parallel to the Life Sciences industry, moving from custom-developed software solutions to packaged-based implementations, and the development of methodologies and best practices to guide practitioners in realizing the greatest return on investment. Mr. Gwyn is passionate about helping organizations evolve from traditional to digital businesses and increase their ability to act with speed and agility.

Mr. Overton graduated from NC State University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. During his time at NC State, Mr. Overton also was a co-operative education student at IBM, and he was hired upon graduation. A few years later in 1993, Mr. Overton began his career in Enterprise Content Management when he joined pharmaceutical company Burroughs Wellcome Inc. where he worked on the team that first implemented Documentum at the company. Mr. Overton continued supporting and architecting Enterprise Content Management solutions while the company went through several mergers and eventually became GlaxoSmithKline. Mr. Overton progressed to become the ECM Competency Center Head at GlaxoSmithKline and managed a diverse worldwide team of individuals supporting ECM systems across the company. After 26 years at GSK, Mr. Overton joined fme US in 2020 as a Managing Consultant and manages the Technology Practice team within the Global Life Sciences Unit.

Before he joined fme US in December 2017, Nigel Whitehead held a number of senior executive roles including the management of a solutions business with a strong focus on ECM. He was the CEO at Advanced Health Media and held positions as Managing Director at CSC Healthcare Group and President Life Sciences at First Consulting Group. Nigel Whitehead brings more than 30 years of experience in the Life Science Industry to the role of the Chief Operating Officer at fme US, LLC.
